Oliver has never been afraid to follow his heart and pursue his life passions. Art is one of them. Oliver studied art and art history when he studied in England, but contrary to the traditional methods of his teachers, he always preferred to develop his artistic style through experimentation and observation. When he lived in Europe, Oliver visited museums from the Tate and National Portrait Galleries in London, to the Louvre and Musee d’Orsay in Paris. Oliver loves all styles of art, but his greatest influence is the Impressionist period, which is distinctly evident in his work. Oliver’s seemingly insatiable appetite to be constantly challenged makes his paintings uniquely energetic and emotional.
