Oliver's career in the entertainment industry began when he was first discovered on the popular teenage magazine show, Zap Rap, on HKTVB. He later appeared on and hosted, amongst other things, Eye on Hong Kong, Pearl Movie Watch, Jade Sports, and Cable TV. Oliver was noticed by and later worked with Alan More Films from the home of the James Bond movies, the world famous Pinewood Studios in England. The show Performance World was aired on satellite television in Asia with an estimated audience of over 30 million!
You may also have seen Oliver in the prime time US TV series Stargate SG1, The Sentinel, as well as the television movie, A Cooler Climate, staring Sally Field and Judy Davis.
