Oliver Tan's fame in the entertainment industry began when he was first discovered on the popular teenage magazine show, "Zap Rap", at HKTVB. His natural talent and charismatic screen presence was soon put to good use on other shows including "Eye on Hong Kong", "Pearl Movie Watch" ,"Jade Sports", and Cable TV. Oliver was noticed by and later worked with Alan More Films from the home of the James Bond movies, the World famous Pinewood Studios in England. The show "Performance World" was aired on satellite television with an estimated audience of over 30 million!
You may also have seen Oliver in "Stargate", "A Cooler Climate" with Sally Fields and Judy Davis, and "The Sentinel".
If you travelled on Cathay Pacific Airways, you may have been one of the lucky 4 million viewers to have seen Oliver hosting Cathay Pacific's 'World Of Entertainment and World Of Travel'.
